This had to have been the most intimate celebration I have ever been a part of.
Nick & Amy's NYC Elopement took place on what was probably one of the rainiest days of September, but that didn't matter AT ALL. I don't think any of us have ever been so soaked and yet have such a good time! Their small intimate elopement ceremony in the Central Park Conservatory Garden was not only beautiful but incredibly moving.
In efforts to keep the focus of their marriage on their love for their family and friends, Nick & Amy decided not to have a large gathering with the usual trimmings and formalities (i.e. first dance, cake cutting, garter/flower toss, etc...). Instead, following the ceremony, we transitioned to The Peninsula Hotel's Rooftop Bar - Salon De Ning for cocktails and then headed down to Serafina down in the Meatpacking District for a relaxing intimate dinner with all twenty two of Nick & Amy's closest family and friends.
